Instead of only a beach, a villa and a spa, the hotel has built an entire system of experiences on the island.

Why we chose it
This hotel is a Frank Gehry building, and it is the reason people drive to a small village in Rioja Alavesa.
The curling roof is titanium in three shades: pink, gold and silver.
They are not arbitrary. The pink is the colour of the wine, the gold is the wire mesh wrapped around the winery’s bottles, and the silver is the capsule.
It opened in 2006 and sits inside the winery estate itself, some 100,000 square metres given over to making, studying and tasting wine.
